Soldiers have put "trophy" photographs of the dead, mutilated, tortured on the internet. In August the BBC's documentary: "The Wounded Platoon", aired interviews with soldiers who admitted shooting Iraqi civilians and "keeping scores." (1) Abu Ghraib's particular testimony to freedom, democracy and liberation's bounties, will likely remain the mental monument to the U.S., military in Iraq, which will ring down the generations.

This has nothing to do with enforcing the rule of law, and everything to do with a renewed form of colonialism. A form which does not always, although does sometimes, involve direct military occupation, but rather the installation of governments that will uphold the interests of European and North American governments on our behalf. An ideology which stipulates that we know best, and that these sub-human Africans cannot be trusted to deal with their own affairs. A mind-set which values our own supremacy and legitimises us in a role of the world's police force.

Only a name is given to a child at his birth and he/she inherits a list of praises linking this person to his origins by referring to his illustrious ancestors or distinguished contemporaneous relatives; or highlighting recognized products of the place where his parents come from or distinguished qualities (good or bad) of the people of that place.

We have suffered and are still suffering too much to allow injustice to perpetrate.

Yes guys, you know very well that some of us are forced to pay electric, telephone or water bill when there is no electricity in the area, when our telephone's cable has been stolen or our water pipes are as dried as if their purpose is to channel air underground; and yet we are billed and threatened to pay or face prosecution. This is not legal.
